Samsung Galaxy Nexus Hard Reset

Before you give your handset to repair shop or buy new handset, please try the following procedure to repair your device. First charge your battery more then 70%, backup your important data like phone-book, message, email, images and settings and in most cases take out SIM card and SD card. How to Hard Reset Samsung Galaxy Nexus


Reset Via Settings

  • Switch on your device.
  • On the Settings screen, touch Backup & Reset > Factory data reset.
  • When prompted, touch Reset phone, and then touch Erase everything. The mobile phone resets the settings to the original factory settings, and then restarts

Hard Reset

  • Switch off the device.
  • Then hold and press 3 keys: Volume Up + Volume Down + Power button.
  • Next if you see menu, then release holded buttons.
  • Now search option Recovery mode using Volume buttons, and confirm with Power button.
  • Afterwards you will see Android man with red triangle  > press Volume Up + Power button.
  • If you are in Recovery mode, then select option wipe data/factory reset using Volume Down button, and confirm with Power button.
  • Choose YES -- delete all user data form the menu, and confirm with Power button.
  • After that select Reboot system now.

Reset Via Master key

  • Start by turning your device on, to do it press Power button. 
  • Then dialling screen of your device type this code in dialer: *2767*3855#
  • Next on confirm whole Factory reset process by tapping Call key again. 
  • Now your device should reboot.
